Jessners and TCA Peels
Jessners peels are superficial peels designed to gently resurface the upper layers of the skin. This resurfacing treatment reduces pigmentation, fine lines and mild textural irregularities, such as acne scarring, whilst promoting collagen growth in the lower layers of the skin. The Jessners Peels ability to dissolve oil in the pores makes it especially good for treatment of acne, breakouts and blackheads. You will notice significant results after only one treatment. To achieve optimum results and to successfully treat your concerns, a course of 4-6 fortnightly to monthly treatments is recommended.
Superficial TCA Peels are mild to moderate peels, which are designed to resurface the upper layers of the skin. This peel will effectively treat mature skin that has moderate to severe sun damage with pigmentation and fine lines. We do recommend a course of TCA peels to achieve the best results for your skin concern; we generally recommend 4-6 peels done fortnightly to monthly.
Skin Needling
Skin Needling is a procedure that uses multiple needles to pierce the skin and create tiny injuries deep in the skin. These dermal injuries lead to new collagen formation via the normal skin repair mechanisms. Skin Needling also perforates and softens fibrous scar tissue enabling the deposition of new collagen. The new collagen fills depressed scars and wrinkles from the bottom up lifting the depression so they are level with the surrounding skin. This process takes 2-3 months to produce visible results, so a course of 3-4 treatments done monthly is advised.
For this treatment we do use a topical anaesthetic so the treatment is completely pain free, all that will be felt is a slight pressure.

Why Should I Wear a Sunscreen?
The biggest question we get asked, and the answer? Because the sun is the number 1 factor that causes premature ageing, not to mention skin cancers.
There are two types of rays the sun produces UVA and UVB. UVA rays are the ones that are present at all times (even on cloudy days!) and these are the ones that cause premature ageing. UVB rays are the rays that actually cause us to sunburn. Both rays damage the collagen and elastin in our skin.
