This month we are featuring Skin Needling

What Is Skin Needling?

This procedure  is a treatment to help grow your own collagen naturally. We use a roller with tiny needles on it to create small dermal injuries to the skin and what that does is creates your wound healing response. It is similar to when you cut yourself , bloodflow rushes to the wound, hyaluronic acid is produced (which is amazing for hydration) and collagen is formed.

How Much Does It Cost?

The brilliant thing about Skin Needling and unlike any other procedure is you only need 3x treatments. The results keep working for up to 12 months after your final session. 

1x session of Skin Needling is $600
3x sessions package is$1500 plus free post needling skincare to take home (valued at $170).


Is it safe and is my Therapist fully trained?

We use Dermaroller, which is the only needle in Australia that is FDA and TGA approved. We also use an anaesthetic on the skin for a painless treatment. Lauren is our certified Dermal Therapist at Belen who performs all our extensive treatments. She has over 7 years experience and has done her post graduate in Dermal Science so you can rest assure you are in good hands.

Is it Better Then Botox?

YES!! For the simple fact you don't have to inject a foreign object  into the body, Skin needling produces your own collagen!  You only need 3x Skin needling treatments and it lasts for 12 months onwards where are Botox has to be maintained every 3x months.

IPL - Making News Headlines


Safe Work Practices at BelenIPL - Permanent hair removal and Skin rejuvenation

Over the last month or so you may have read some horror stories that have happened to women who have had IPL. It would appear that the people that performed these treatments are not properly trained and it is questionable whether the machines they have used are certified.We would like to assure our clients that this is not the case at Belen.Firstly our machine has been certified safe by both the American and Australian Authorities.Secondly all staff that perform the treatments undergo extensive training and must be assessed competent before they are allowed to perform treatments on clients.

 Our Assistant Manager at Karrinyup oversees all IPl training. She has completed her Dermal Science Diploma, is a certified trainer and has her IPL Safety Officer Certificate.Thirdly, All treatments are preceded by a skin consultation , which allows us to determine the correct settings and a test patch is done to ensure the client has no adverse reactions.We also have testimonials from clients who have received great results.We understand that if you are considering IPL you will shop around however I urge you to please come in and discuss the treatments with us first so you can be well prepared to make the safest and most correct choice.

Tips From the Team:                     


What are these ingredients in my products and what are they good for?

Benzoyl Peroxide -  a bleaching  and drying agent. Mainly used in the treatment for acne as it provides oxygen to the hair follicle and instantly kils bacteria.

Parabens -  methyl and propyl parabens are the two most commonly used parabens in the world. They are found in an estimated  90 percent of cosmetics, shampoos, make up, food and antibiotics. They are used as a preservative for products and recent studies have deemed them safer to be in a product then not.

Niacinamide - helps prevent transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, minimizing pigmentation and great for brightening.

Lactic Acid -  An alpha hydroxy acid that helps resurface and retexturise skin. Also helps stimulate cell turnover to assist in skins natural exfoliation process, moisturize and brighten skin tone.

Hyaluronic Acid -  found naturally in the body. This ingredient holds up to 1000x it's weight in water, which makes it fantastic for absoloute hydration of the skin.
