Skin Needling is a procedure that uses multiple needles to pierce the skin and create tiny injuries deep in the skin. These dermal injuries lead to new collagen formation via the normal skin repair mechanisms. Skin Needling also perforates and softens fibrous scar tissue enabling the deposition of new collagen. The new collagen fills depressed scars and wrinkles from the bottom up lifting the depression so they are level with the surrounding skin.

Jeffs Product Of The Month:

Like most men i want something thats multipurpose and easy. I drive around alot so I am in and out of the sun. My skin gets dry and I need something with SPF which is why Daily defense works for me. Everyday i put on this product after shaving. Its a lightweight mosturiser so it doesnt feel greasy and is absorbed into the skin quickly. Doesnt leave your skin looking white. Its got SPF 15 in it so it gives protection. The extra bonus is it helps fight ingrown hairs.
I wouldn't recommend this if you are in the sun all day, you would need something with a higher SPF, but for me this product is great. And it will suits most skin types.

Irritating and unsightly ingrown hairs can occur on any part of the body following hair removal. They begin when dead skin cells accumulate where hair removal has occured and form a papule while the skin heals. Hair growing in the area then gets trapped under the papule and is prevented from exiting the skin properly creating an ingrown hair. If left untreated, ingrown hairs can result in pain, itching, tenderness and in some cases scarring.
At Belen we've tried and tested everything!! And we have found the answer!! About 5-7 days after waxing you should begin exfoliating the area to ensure removal of dead skin cells so the hair can come through, we've found using a exfoliating cloth best. If you start to notice any bumps or ingrowns occuring (usually 7 days onwards) we reccommend using a lotion that is specifically designed to target the problem.These lotions you can either use all over the area or just on the ingrown. They will usually contain chemical exfoliating ingredients like salicylic acid or may be listed as Salix Alba Bark extract, combined with anything that will heap heal the skin such as Tea tree, Aloe Barbadensis or grapeseed.
